What Is Open Play?
Where little learners explore, imagine, and move freely.
Open Play at the Mini Movement Center is a joyful, high-energy time for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to climb, jump, slide, pretend, and explore at their own pace. It’s completely child-led, intentionally designed, and rooted in the magic of early childhood movement.
Kids play.
Parents breathe.
Everyone feels welcome.

And yes — it’s the perfect indoor option year-round (especially during those unpredictable Midwest days!)

Our play floor is designed just for littles and includes:
- Soft climbers, slides, and imaginative obstacles
- Cozy spaces for crawling, jumping, balancing, and exploring
- Rotating monthly themes + fresh setups
- A clean, shoes-off, child-sized environment
- Staff present for safety and fun
Every visit feels different, fun, and developmentally benificial— but still simple and pressure-free.

Open Play Policies
To keep Open Play safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone:
Parents Must Stay & Supervise
Open Play is not a drop-off program.
A supervising adult must remain with their child at all times and be actively engaged in keeping them safe.
Shoes Off, Socks or Bare Feet
For safety and cleanliness, all children and adults must remove shoes before entering the play floor.
Ages & Space Design
The environment is created for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Older siblings may attend but must be mindful of little movers.
Memberships + Drop-Ins
Members may drop in anytime Open Play is listed on the calendar.
Non-members will follow posted drop-in rates and availability.
